Ⅰ．はじめに

　真珠腫性中耳炎は耳鼻咽喉科の日常診療でしばしば遭遇する病態であり，その一部は錐体部に進展する場合がある。今回，術前から耳漏培養でMRSAが認められた錐体部真珠腫術後耳に対して，塩酸オキシテトラサイクリン歯科用製剤を用いた治療を行い，良好な結果を得たので報告する。

　A 79-year-old man complained of continued otorrhea and occipital headache. He received tympanoplasty of the left ear 6 years ago. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus（MRSA） was detected by culture. CT-scan image showed an extensive petrous bone cholesteatoma. After surgical treatment, otorrhea and granulation had still continued. Finally we obtained good results in epithelialization with tetracycline corn.
