  • Look Inside

Event-related neuromagnetic fields were recorded by presenting visual stimuli using an odd-ball paradigm. Two checkerboard patterns, one as the target and the other as non-target stimulus, were presented at a random sequence. The test subject, a healthy adult, was asked to count the number of appearance of the target stimulus. The evoked fields were recorded using a 64-channel whole cortex magneto encephalogram. There were definite differences in the evoked fields between response for target and non-target stimulus in the area of median vertex. The responses appeared to be compatible with P300.
