イソプロピルウノプロストン点眼液により多毛の生じた3症例

Three cases of hypertrichosis following topical treatment with isopropyl unoprostone

　緑内障に対してイソプロピルウノプロストン点眼を行った3例に，点眼開始から平均7か月後に，眼瞼周囲の皮膚に顕著な多毛が生じた。眼圧コントロールが良好な2例では，点眼を中止した4か月後と13か月後に多毛が消退した。プロスタグランジン製剤である本剤が毛根を刺激して多毛が生じたと推定した。

We observed three cases which developed remarkable hypertrichosis in the eyelid following topical treatment with isopropyl unoprostone for glaucoma for an average of 7 months. Hypertrichosis regressed 4 and 13 months respectively after discontinuation of medication in 2 cases because of good control of intraocular pressure.It appeared that hypertrichosis was due to stimulation of hair follicles by unoprostone which is one of prostaglandins.
