虹彩欠損を伴う白内障例に対する水晶体嚢内固定式人工虹彩の移植

In-the-bag artificial iris implantation during cataract surgery in eyes with iris defect

　さまざまな理由により虹彩欠損を伴った白内障手術例において，水晶体嚢内固定式の人工虹彩を移植した症例を3例経験した。眼内レンズ挿入と同様に，水晶体嚢内に固定された人工虹彩は，眼内の他の組織への侵襲がほとんどないため，虹彩の欠損を補う新しい手段として選択しうると考えた。

We implanted artificial iris during cataract surgery in 3 eyes with partial or total aniridia. The artificial iris was made of polymethyl metacrylate and was fixed in the capsular bag as well as the intraocular lens. The implanted iris was well tolerated for 12 months or longer after surgery.
