糖尿病網膜症の進展に関与する因子としての血清リポ蛋白（a）の検討

Serum lipoprotein (a) as a risk factor of diabetic retinopathy

（18-P1-10）　過去2年間に受診した糖尿病患者57例について血清リポ蛋白（a）を測定した。経過観察中に網膜症が進展または当初から増殖網膜症があるものを進展群とした。リポ蛋白（a）値は，進展群で非進展群よりも有意に高値であった（p＝0.0001）。血清リポ蛋白（a）が高いとき，糖尿病網膜症が進展しや手ずい状態にあると結論された。

We measured the serum lipoprotein (a) in 57 diabetic patients. Case were judged as progressive when the retinopathy showed progression during the observation period of maximally two years or when the retinopathy was proliferative when initially seen. The serum lipoprotein (a) value was significantly higher in progressive group than in nonprogressive one (p =0.0001). It is concluded that elevated serum lipoprotein (a) is a risk factor for progression of diabetic retinopathy.
