加齢黄斑変性症（滲出型）のロービジョンエイド

Low vision aids for exudative type of age-related macular degeneration

（25E-14）　両眼性加齢黄斑変性症（滲出型）22例22眼に対し拡大鏡，拡大読書器を用いて近見視に対するロービジョンエイドを行い，視力，固視の状態，視野の結果から患者の視機能を分類し，適切な補助具を選定した。近距離視力表の0.5の視標，新聞が読めるかを基準にした。遠方視力が0.1以上で中心10度の中に固視点がある場合，拡大鏡で読むことができた。遠方視力が0.1未満でも固視点が10度以内にある場合には拡大鏡または拡大読書器にて読めた。固視点が10度以内にない場合には拡大読書器を用いても不可能だった。

We reviewed 22 patients who had been using low vision aids for exudative type of age-related macular degeneration. We checked whether the patients could read a newspaper with a magnifier or closed-circuit television (CCTV) . When the visual acuity was 0.1 or better and the eccentric fixation was within 10 degrees from the center, patients could read a newspaper with a magnifier. When the visual acuity was less than 0.1 and the eccentric fixation within 10 degrees from the center, patients could read a newspaper with a magnifier or CCTV. When the visual acuity was less than 0.1 and the eccentric fixation beyond 10 degrees from the center, patients could not read a newspaper with a magnifier or CCTV.
