　涙嚢部に原発した扁平上皮癌の1例の臨床経過について報告した。症例は78歳女性で，左涙嚢部に腫脹を認めた。生検で扁平上皮癌の診断を得た。左涙嚢部に一致して弾性硬，表面整で，可動性に乏しい直径約2cmの腫瘤を触知した。CT, MRI検査では同部に直径1.5cmの充実性の腫瘍陰影を認めた。眼窩内容除去術および側頭筋皮弁術を施行した。病理学的には扁平上皮癌であった。術後，左下顎部に小指頭大の腫瘤が出現したため，摘出した。病理学的には扁平上皮癌で，リンパ節転移と思われた。

A 78-year-old female presented with swelling of the left lacrimal sac area. Computed tomography and magnetic renonance imaging showed the tumor to be 15 mm in diameter. Biopsy showed the tumor to be malignant. She was treated by exenteration of the orbit. The lesion was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma. Metastasis developed later in the ipsilateral submandibular lymph nodes.
