  • Look Inside

We diagnosed 2 cases as fundus albipunctatus with positive electrophysiological and psycho-physical test results. In one case, a 16-year-old male, funduscopic findings were typical with white punctate lesions arranged annularly, radially and diffusely except the macula. In the second case, a 8-year-old girl, fundus findings were unusual with irregular distribution of white punctate lesions. Temporal fundus hemisphere was almost free of white punctate lesions in both eyes. Retinal func-tions were disturbed even though the distribution of white punctates was atypical. The fundus appear-ance remained stationary during the 2 years of observation. It appeared that functional distur-bance preceded the appearance of white punctate lesions in this disease.
