Abstract Purpose:We report a case of punctate inner choroidopathy(PIC)in a teenage girl.

Case:A 17-year-old girl presented with visual loss in her right eye a week ago.

Clinical findings:On initial presentation, her vision was 20/40 in the right eye and more than 20/20 in the left eye. The posterior pole of the right eye showed multiple yellow-white dot lesions and retinal hemorrhage in the parafovea. These findings were consistent with a diagnosis of PIC with choroidal neovascularization(CNV). She was treated with oral prednisolone 15 mg/day and three times with intravitreal aflibercept. At the five-month of follow-up, her visual acuity improved to 20/20 in the right eye. The lesions remained, but some of them were scarred with pigmentation.

Conclusion:We report a young patient with PIC that was discovered after a hemorrhage of CNV. PIC is not a rare disease and should be noted as one of the most common causes of vision loss, which can occur from children to middle-age and elderly people.
