Abstract Purpose:To report 3 cases who showed optic disc hemorrhage.

Cases and Findings:All were females and were aged 14, 17 and 24 years respectively. Optic disc hemorrhage was present in one eye only in all the cases when seen initially. Optic disc hemorrhage appeared in the fellow eye in one case. All the cases had myopia between 3 and 5 diopters. Micropapilla was present in all the cases. One case had been treated with warfarin for anomaly of the heart and aplasia of the spleen. The other 2 cases showed no apparent pathological feature associated with disc hemorrhagae. Disc hemorrhage disappeared spontaneously in one to 3 months.

Conclusion:Optic disc hemorrhage was detected in 3 young adult females. All had moderate myopia and micropapilla. The hemorrhage disappeared spontaneously.
