Abstract. Purpose:To report two cases of arterial macroaneurysm on the optic disc that cured after intravitreal bevacizumab. Cases:Both were males and were aged 77 and 90 years respectively. Both cases were referred to us for vitreous hemorrhage. Giant arterial macroaneurysm was detected on the optic disc during vitrectomy in both cases. One case showed subretinal hemorrhage involving the macula. The other case showed repeated recurrences of vitreous hemorrhage after surgery. The arterial macroaneurysm regressed after intravitreal bevacizumab in both cases with final visual acuity of 0.8 and 0.5 respectively. Conclusion:These cases illustrate that intravitreal injection of bevacizumab may be effective for arterial macroaneurysm on the optic disc.
