眼鏡店検眼に対する批判とその対策

A Critique for Glasses Made by Opticians

I．緒言

　私達が日常外来に於いて視力の矯正，屈折検査及び眼鏡の処方を行う場合，現に所持せる既製の眼鏡を知ることは，視力並びに屈折状態の経過を察知する上に甚だ有意義かつ診療能率上にも便利である。

　私は約10年前から屈折検査を目的とする場合だけでなく，眼精疲労，調節衰弱を訴える際，或いは飛蚊症・視朦・充血・眼脂・流涙・自覚暗点など況ゆる場合に努めて患者の所持する眼鏡度を検し，特に眼鏡店にて検眼作製されたものに就いて調査し，その中から適当でないと考えられるものを選出して次に述べる結果を得た。視力並びに矯正視力は徳大式試視力表照明装置を用い5米の距離から万国式環状試視力表にて測定した。

In the last ten years, from 1956 to 1965, the author found 144 patients who complained of inadequacy of their glasses made by opti-cians without consulting any ophthalmologist. The main inadequate reasons of their glasses were as follows :

1) There were frequent misuse of cylindri-cal lens of the glasses which were composed of cylindrical and spherical lens. There were many glasses in which the cylindrical lens was added unnecessarily to the spherical one.
