OctopusのプログラムFからみた糖尿病性網膜症における中心視野

Central visual field in diabetic retinopathy tested by Octopus F program

　Octopus視野計のプログラムFから得られた断面静的視野を用いて，糖尿病性黄斑症の5病型（類嚢胞黄斑浮腫（cystoid macular edema，CME），単純黄斑浮腫（simple macular edema，SME），黄斑沈着物，乏血性黄斑症，糖尿病性色素上皮症）の視野変化について検討し，次の結果が得られた。

（1）各病型とも，網膜感度曲線にジグザグした不規則な低下が認められた。

（2）網膜感度の低下の程度と視力低下の程度は，必ずしも一致しなかった。

（3） CME, SMEでは，軽度な網膜感度曲線の低下をみた。

（4）強い沈着物，人きな無血管帯，網膜色素上皮の障害部では，中等度以上に網膜感度は低下していた。

We evaluated the central visual field in 23 eyes, 17 cases, with macular involvement in diabetic retinopathy. The cases showed cystoid or simple macular edema, macular deposits, ischemic or dia-betic pigment epitheliopathy. Funduscopic and fluorescein angiographic findings were compared against central campimetric findings as tested by program F of automated perimetry system byOctopus.

The sensitivity in the central retina was de-creased in variable degrees throughout the series. This decrease in sensitivity did not correspond to impaired visual acuity. The sensitivity was impair-ed minimally in eyes with simple or cystoid macular edema and moderately in eyes with macular deposits, extensive avascular area or damaged retinal pigment epithelium.
