　OctopusのSargonプログラムを用い，中心視野測定用の9種のプログラムを作り，これを分類，命名した．

　パーソナル・コンピューターに中心固視の良い眼で求めた中心49点のdB数を入れ，中心視野変化をgray scale表示ならびに3次元とカラー表示することを試みた．

　過去3年間の臨床研究よりして，我々の作ったプログラムM1.0とM2.0は錐体ジストロフィーのような黄斑疾患や，旁中心暗点を有する視神経症や同名半盲の症例にみられた黄斑回避の診断や経過観察に最も有用であることがわかった．

We developed 9 programs for evaluating the cen-tral visual field based on the Sargon program of automated static perimeter, Octopus. A computer-assisted attempt was made to express the numerical values of 49 points in the central visual field either in gray scale or three-dimensional color displays.

Our clinical studies in the past 3 years have shown 2 programs, M1.0 and M2.0, to be of value in the diagnosis and follow up of macular affections including cone dystrophy, optic neuropathy with paracentral scotoma and macular sparing in ho-monymous hemianopsia.
