Sporotrichum schenkiiによる上強膜炎の1症例

A case with episcleral sporotrichosis

　Sporotrichum schenkiiによる上強膜炎の1症例を報告した。真菌感染は角膜辺縁部潰瘍に対する結膜被覆術後のステロイドおよび抗生物質の長期使用により誘発されたものと考えられる。ステロイドの使用中止，抗生物質の変更，ピマリシンの使用により完治した。

A 47-old-female developed hyperemia and infil-tration in the bulbar sub-conjunctiva in her left eye. She had been under treatment for marginal corneal ulcer with topical antibiotics and corticosteroid for the past 11 months. The presence of Sporotrichum schenkii was proved by culture of smear from the episcleral lesion. Discontinuation of topical cortico-steroids and antibiotics and administration of strep-tomycin and pimaricin brought about rapid im-provement in the condition.
