A choroidal neovascularization associated with angioid streaks was observed in a 42-year-old male. The choroidal neovascular membrane did not involve the fovea, so that argon laser photoco-agulation was applied.
Although recurrence was observed a month after the treatment, a second treatment coagulated the neovascular membrane very well.
For about a year no recurrence was observed and visual acuity improved remarkably.
