マウスERGに及ぼす抗結核剤Ethambutol長期投与の影響

Effect of long-term administration of ethambutol on mouse electrorctinogram

　抗結核剤ethambutol （EB）投与前後のマウスERGを測定し，EBの網膜レベルへの影響を研究した。20mg／kg投与群ではa波振幅の減少，律動様小波およびb波の頂点潜時の短縮，50mg／kg投与群ではa波，b波，o₃波の振幅減少，b波の頂点潜時の短縮，200mg／kgおよび500mg／kg投与群ではa波，b波，律動様小波の振幅減少がみられた。a波，b波振幅減少の平均値は20mg／kg投与群，50mg／kg投与群，200mg／kgおよび500mg／kg投与群の順に大きくなった。

　以上よりEBは網膜レベルにも影響があることが示唆された。

An investigation was made on the possible ocular complication of ethambutol in mice using electrore-tinogram as parameter. A total of 30 animals were intraperitoneally given ethambutol at the daily dosis ranging from 20 to 500 mg/kg for 1.5 to 3 months.

All the animals responded with reduction in amplitude of a- and b-waves and oscillatory poten-tials. The peak latency of the b-wave was also shortened. The amount of reduction of amplitudes of a- and b-waves were positively correlated with the cumulative dosis of ethambutol.
