原発性網膜色素変性症における網膜浮腫発生原因に関する検討—Ⅰ．臨床像

Studies on etiology of the retinal edema in primary retinitis pigmentosa: Ⅰ. The clinical survey

　42症例の原発性網膜色素変性症（以下当疾患）中13症例（31％）に両側性の網膜浮腫（嚢腫状黄斑浮腫を含む）（以下浮腫）を螢光眼底造影で検出した。浮腫群の年齢は32歳から74歳に分布し性別遺伝形式の上で特色はなかつた。浮腫群，非浮腫群について視力，視野，（螢光）眼底所見および硝子体変化などの臨床的なparameterで当疾患の進行程度を調べると浮腫群が活動期の当疾患に多いのに対して非浮腫群は末期の当疾患に多いことが統計学的有意に示された。高頻度に浮腫が合併することおよび活動期に浮腫が多発することから，当疾患における浮腫の合併は偶発的なものでなく原疾患の進行病態と密接な関連を有することが強く示唆された。

Thirteen out of 42 cases of primary retinitis pigmentosa (RP) showed fluorescein angiographic evidence of bilateral retinal vascular leakage including cystoid macular edema. The age distri-bution of the cases associated with vascular leakage (Group 1) and those without vascular leakage (Group 2) ranged from 30 to 71 and 7to 77 respectively. Both groups had no special correlation with pattern of hereditary. The visual functions, fundus appearance and vitreous findings were studied as the clinical parameters for evaluating the stage of RP, which were compared among these two groups.
