Congenital Retinoschisis in Siblings

緒　言

　Congenital Retinoschisis （以下C．R．と略す）は伴性劣性遺伝を示す網膜硝子体疾患であり，欧米では既に多数の報告がみられる。しかしわが国では比較的稀な疾患であり，近年網膜硝子体疾患への関心の高まりと共に，その報告数が増えてきているが，まだ日常診療において常に考慮されている疾患とはいい難いようである。またわが国で報告された多くは，安定期に入ったC．R．であり，種々の合併症に対して積極的に治療を加えたものは少ないようである．本症例は兄弟例であり，その特異な眼底所見と共に，それぞれが興味深い臨床経過を示しているので報告する。

We observed congenital retinoschisis in a pair of brothers. The younger, 12-year-old su-bject showed dense vitreous membrane result-ing from massive vitreous haemorrhage just behind the posterior capsule of the lens in one eye. The condition was successfully treated by anterior vitrectomy.

The elder, 14-year-old brother developed reti-nal detachment in addition to congenital reti-noschisis. Outer-layer retinal breaks could not be detected. The condition was brought to cure after equatorial encircling surgery with silicone rod as implant.
