A rare corneal opacity was observed in a case with rheumatoid arthritis. The lesion was found in Descemet's membrane and deep parenchyma, and its characteristic appearance was cholesterin crystal like opacity. This opacity is probably a corneal degeneration which belongs to collagen disease and was found already in two cases of muco-cutaneous ocular syndrome by Ujihara and Nakaizumi in 1958.
