The Direction of the Landolt broken ring

　ランドルト環視標は切目の方向によつて見えやすさが異なるのは日常よく経験するところである。著者はこの切目方向による視力差を明らかにする目的で次の実験を試みた。

One thousand one hundred and nineteen subjects were measured for the distance of the 0.2 Landolt broken ring by the observer on 8 directions. The results were shown to have Significant Differences between crossing directions and 4 oblique directions, upper side and lower side.
