双生児の眼底所見，特に血管に関する遺伝的研究

Studies on the Heritability estimates of the fundus findings, especially of the retinal vessels by twin study.

I．緒言

　人類遺伝学に於て眼に関する種々の形質の研究はかなり重要な位置を占めて来た。これは眼が精密な感覚器管で精密な検査が容易である為，異常形質の発見が他部に比し，早くから行われた事に由るとも言われている。

　然しながら眼底及び其の末梢血管についての研究報告は至つて少い。ここに於て著者は双生児を対象として肉眼で見，且つ撮影可能でもあり，又唯一の末梢血管状態を観察し得る眼底及び其の血管系の性質に関し，如何なる形質が遺伝的影響が大であるか，或は環境その他の影響を受け易いか，各卵性別の項目によつての類似度及び各各の遺伝性，級内相関係数を算出し検討を加えた。

This study has been made as one part of the work of a twin research group (headed by Prof. K.Fujita, Univ. of Tokyo.) The fundus of the right eyes of MZ 38 pairs, DZ 11 pairs and PZ 11 pairs of the middle and high school attached to Tokyo University, were photographed in color with a Noyori's Hand Fundus Camera, and the following items were measured with the accuracy of 1/200 mm by use of a shadowgraph (ⅢS) : disc-diameter, retinal vessel-calibre and the straight distance from boundary of the disc to the branch-point of the vein.
