家族的に多発せる筋無力症について

Three myasthenic cases found out in a family of five members

　筋無力症は近年神経医学部門に於て注目されている疾患であるが，本症は随意筋の運動の衰弱を特徴とした特有のsyndromeを形成し，主に脳神経により支配される筋運動が侵され易く，Bie-lshowskyによればその1／3が眼障害を以て始るといい，従つて発病に当りまず眼科医に診を乞い発見されるものが多い。

　本症は1877年Wilkによつてbulbar paraly-sisとして報告されたのが最初とされているが，GuthrieによるとThomas Willisが1685年記載している報告は筋無力症以外のものとは考えられないと云う。本症に於いてheredo-familialincidenceは極めて稀であり，一般に本症に遺伝的関係は認められていない。CurshmannはKo-nstionskrankheitと考えている。私共は5人の兄弟の中3人に本症を発生した例に遭遇したのでここに報告する。

We will report on three myasthenic cases (two brothers and a sister) in a family.

Their parents and other two brothers are healthy. When the disease affected them, the eldest son was 39 years of age, next son (3 years) and the sister (10 years).

The eldest son is light general type and the next son and the sister are mainly the ocular type.
