  • Look Inside

Twenty nine cases of congestive glaucoma have been followed up for 2-10 years. Without treatments, the ocular tension usually rose and the visual field contracted with decrease in the visualy acuity in these cases.

In 44.8% of the operated cases, the ocular tension increased following a temporary dec-rease in 2-10 postoperated years. The visual acuity was improved or not changed in 40%, and the visual field was improved or not changed in about 50%.

Iridectomy and Iridencleisis yielded better results than cyclodialysis.
