Studies on the Depth of Anterior Chamber:Report II. The Depth of Anterior Chamber on the Eyes of Refractive Errors (Supplement) Relationship between the Depth of Anterior Chamber and the Radius of Curvature of Cornea

I．まえがき

　私は第I報で，正視眼の前房の深さについて述べた。今回は屈折異常眼の前房の深さについて述べる。

　遠・近視眼の前房の深さについては，我が国では，進藤，石田両氏の報告があり，最近では，天野氏の実験もあるが，何れも，実験例少数であり，また軽度近視のうちから，細かく，近視度を区分して，追究した実験例は非常に少ない。

The author measured the depth of anterior chamber on 741 cases, applying a drum which was made by the author to Czapski-Zeiss type slit lamp. The cases included students and others of males and females who I-ad hypermetropia or myopia. The distribution of age was from 10 years to 25 years old. In addition, on 1538 eyes of emetropia and eyes of hypermetropia or myopia, the radius of curvature of cornea was measured with Javal-Schiötz's ophthalmometer. The results were as follow.

1) Hypermetropia (up to + 1.0D) had more shallow anterior chamber than emetropia.

2) Myopia (up to-5. D) had more deep anterior chamber than emetropia.
