　先天性涙腺瘻の報告はMackenzie （1830）に始まる10数例^1）が散見されるのみであり，本邦においても吉川^2），三宅^3）の2例をみるにすぎない。最近私達は先天性涙腺瘻の1例を経験したので報告し，併せて本瘻より湧出する涙液の性状を排泄量，蛋白量及び食塩量等により検討し，興味ある知見を得たので報告する。

A case of congenital lacrimal fistula on the left in a 9 year-old girl, which was found to be originated from the orbital lacrimal gland, was reported.

Secrete from the fistula was analized by Filter-electropholesis. No protein fraction, which is ordinarily present in the tear was not found by this method except an unknown spot. From this fact, the protein component in tears seems to be produced in other lacrimal gland than orbital lacrimal glands.
