（67）生体角膜レプリカについて

Cornea Replica on the Animal and Human Body

緒言

　私共，医学方面で，電子顕微鏡の応用は，実に多く，微小体を始め微細構造の究明に非常に役立つて居る事は，喋々する迄もない。

　所がレプリカへの応用は，特殊な場合や物を除いて，生体特に粘膜のレプリカそれ自体が非常に困難であるために，今日迄洋の東西を問わず何人も未だ成功していない。即ち，従来，生体レプリカとか，生物レプリカとか言われているが，生存しているものから，そのままの状態についてのレプリカは一つも成功していないのである。

Here is a report of a new replica method by using methylmethacrylate reaction mixture for immediate polymerization.

It is applicable for the cornea in living animals and human bodies.

Then the picture of replica is able to be obtained from the cornea which is suffering from the pannus trachomatous and the attack of glaucoma. It is so smooth as a mirror in the animal but characteristicly rough in the others.
