テラマイシンによるトラコーマの集団治療成績—（第7報）他種抗生物質との比較

Results of mass-treatment of school trachoma with Terramycin :(7th. Report) Comparative studies about the result of 1% Terramycin ointment with other antibiotics

　テラマイシン（以下TM）によるトラコーマの集団治療成績の題下に私は先づ0.5％ワゼリン軟膏1日1回点入による学童トラコーマの集団治療成績に就き米山兄弟と共著（昭26）で報告し，次いで続報としてこれと0.25％及び0.1％軟膏との比較に就て米山，村岡，池田，島及び松元共著（昭27）で発表し，更に第3報として松元共著（昭27）にて南浜村小中学生に於ける2年目実施成績に就て報告した。そうして第4報として1.0％及び7.5％軟膏による成績及びこれらと0.5％，0.25％及び0.1％軟膏使用時との比較成績（昭28），策5報としては南浜村小中学生に於ける3年目実施成績（昭29），更に第6報として0.5％軟膏1日1回及び2〜3回点入時成績の比較（昭30）に就ては何れも私単独にて報告したのであるが，今回は私が既に発表した1.0％TM軟膏1日1回点入時の成績を同一方法による当教室発表のオーレオマイシン（AM），クロロマイセチン（CM），アイロタイシン（IT）及びマグナマイシン（MM）の成績と比較した結果に就て述べて見度いと思う。

The results of mass-treatment of school-trachoma were compared in 1% vaselin ointment of Aureomycin, Chloromycetin, Ilotycin and Magnacin and concluded as follows.

1) Terramycin and Auremycin were most excellent and no difference between both. Chloromycetin and Ilotycin ranked next to above. Magnecin was inferior to them.

2) Auremycin and Terramycin have some irritability despit their excellent effects.Iloty-cin and Chloromycetin were secon in effects but has no irritability or other side effects, furthermore, Chloromycetin has advantage to be stabile for long term.
