In Research 4, an ophthalmograph was employed, and the pauses and movements of both eyes during the reading of normal and easy Japanese sentences were recoreded at the same time. Through this recording the followings were clearly discovered :
In all records it was found that the both record-lines were quite the same in shape. With no exception they were all step-formed. Judging from these parallel step-formed lines, we could know the fact that, during the reading of normal and easy Japanese sentences, the both eyes made pauses with trembles and speedy movements alternate with each other.
