（1）生理的視束乳頭陷凹の大きさと年令との関係に就て

The relationship betwen the size of physiological cupped of the disc and the age.

　視束乳頭の生理的陥凹に就ての観察は最近Pro-cksch,Funder等に依り発表されているが，私も数年前よりこの観察を行つたので御報告申上げたいと思う。

The relationship between the size of physiological cupped of the disc and the age were stu-died statistically in 959 cases, 1859 eyes, under 82 yr. old.

The grade were divided in 5, namely, A (The disc has almost no cupped clinically without hyperemia or diffuse redness), B (show onlyfunnel shape), C (small cupped in size of 1/4-1/3 dia-meter of the disc), D (moderate cupped in size of 1/3-1/2 diameter of the disc) and E (big cupped in size of over 1/2 diameter of the disc), and the age were divided in each decade. In the total, it was γxy/σγ=0.046/0.0231<2 and not significant.
