有限距離におけるZero-verging Powerを有するレンズの実験—第2報Meridional Type Iseikonic Lenses

Experiments on the Lenses Having Zeroverging Power for the Finite Distance. Part 2. Meridional Type Iseikonic Lenses

緒言

　前報において注視点が移動しても角倍率が変化しないOverall iseikonic lensを試作し，その光学的特性ならびにそれを用いた基礎実験について述べた^1）。今回試作したMeridional iseiko—nic lensはBi-cylinderすなわち両面とも円柱面で，しかもそれらの軸が互いに平行になつている単レンズである。したがつてMeridianの方向によつて角倍率が異なり，倍率が極大になるMeridional断面はOverall typeのレンズの断面に等しく，その光学的Processはまつたく同じである。角倍率が1％より7％までのZero-verging meridional iseikonic lensを使つて，幾何効果（Geometric effect），誘発効果（lnduced effect），および2,3の眼機能について基礎実験を行なつたので以下報告する。

The authors have designed a new type of Meridional iseikonic lenses based on the prin-ciple of Zero-verging power. The series of the lenses cover 1 to 7% by 1% step. The results of basic experiment were as follows :

1) In Space-eikonometer and Howard-Dolman test, we could find high correlation between expected and measured aniseikonia due to the magnification of the retinal image of right eye in horizontal meridian. "Induced" effect due to vertical magnification was clearly observ-ed in Space-eikonometer, but was not observ-ed in Howard-Dolman test.
