色光線照射による眼圧変動に関する実験的研究

Effect of Color Illumination on the Intraocular Pressure

緒言

　緑内障の診断上重要な役割をしている負荷試験には，飲水試験，暗室試験，散瞳試験，priscol試験，不安定試験，頭部低位試験，頸部圧迫試験，マッサージ試験，読書試験，温罨法試験等があるが，患者の苦痛を伴つたり，またある程度の危険性を有するものがある。今回著者は，光線，とくに色光線照射にて眼圧低下を示すという報告^1）に接し，この方法が一種の負荷試験（緑内障検出試験）として応用できるか否かの実験を行なつてみた。とくに光線は，われわれ日常生活上欠くべからざるものであり，色光線は室内照明等，各種照明や，テレビ，サングラス等々われわれの眼に様々な刺激を与えているがこれらは完全に無害なものであろうか，この点もあわせて検討してみた。色光線の中でも，緑色光，赤色光，青色光，黄色光を中心にこ色光線刺激と眼圧の変動について検討してみたのでここに報告する。

Clinical observations were made on changes in intraocular pressure after illuminating one or both eyes for 30 minutes with a 100-watt incandescent lamp (300 lux) through color filt-ers. Kodak wratten filters were used through-out which were : No. 61 (green), No. 25 (red), No. 47 (blue) and No. 12 (yellow). Twenty-th-ree normal subjects and 53 open- or closed an-gle glaucoma subjects were tested.

Significant decreases in intraocular pressure were observed following color illumination in both normal and glaucoma groups. The pheno-menon is considered to be due to effects of co-lor rays on the vasomotor nerves.
