網膜色素上皮剥離について（第2報）—色素上皮剥離を伴う中心性網膜炎の病理組織所見

Serous Detachment of the Retinal Pigment Epithelium. Histopathologic Study

緒言

　先に^1）網膜色素上皮剥離（以下PEDと略す）の臨床所見について報告したが，今回は2年間の経過観察をしたPEDを伴う漿液性中心性網膜脈絡膜炎（以下中心性網膜炎と略す）の患者が死亡し，眼球を剖検する機会を得たので，その病理組織所見について述べる。

The auther examined histologically an eye with serous detachment of the retinal pigment epithelium in both eyes of a 38-year-old man who had developed idiopathic central serous choroidopathy for several times in 2 years ob-servations.

The retina and choroid were almost normal and the morphological changes of the pigment epithelium were predominant. These changes of the pigment epithelium lead to the functional disturbance of retino-choroidal barrier and are probably the cause of idiopathic central serous choroidopathy.
