  • Look Inside

The purpose of this paper is to report about the relation between C-value, ocular tension and refraction.

1) The incidence of those patients whose C-value is 0.19 or less, is 64 per cent in the group of ocular tension of 25 to 28mmHg, 56 per cent in 20 to 25mmHg, 37 per cent in 15 to 19mmHg and 31 per cent in 14 mmHg or less.

2) In the group aged 15 years or older, pa-tients who have abnormal C-value in the groupof 15 to 19mmHg, exist more frequently in high grade of myopia ( -6D≲) than in emmetropia.

3) The same tendency is seen in the group of 1 to 15 years of age, in general, regardless of ocular tension.
