眼科領域におけるATP腸溶錠による治療成績

Clinical Experience with ATP Enteric Tablets on the Ocular Diseases

I．緒言

　周知のごとくATP （Adenosine triphosphate）は生体組織内でenergy-rich phosphate bondとして存在し，加水分解を受ける際多量のfreeenergyを遊離し生体諸機能発動のエネルギー源として供給されている。また血管拡張作用，組織の諸代謝機能賦活作用を有するため各科領域で諸種疾患の治療に応用され臨床上の効果を挙げている。眼科領域においても眼精疲労，眼筋麻痺，網膜，視神経疾患等広範囲に亘つて使用され使用成績を挙げつつある。従来は主として注射の形で使用され，しばしば注射による副作用発現がみられたが，このたび腸溶錠の形で投与が可能になり，副作用の恐れなく長期連用が期待出来るようになつた。著者は最近諸種眼疾患に対し本剤内服治療を試み以下の成績を得たので報告する。尚本剤は第1図に示す化学構造を有し，1錠中ATP−2Na 20mgを含有している。

A report is presented on clinical effects of ATP enteric tablets as applied to various ocu-lar conditions. Patients were given 3 to 6 ta-blets daily, each tablet containing 20 mg ade-nosine triphosphate. Thirty-nine patients were thus treated and following results were ob-tained:

1) Satisfactory clinical results were obtained in a majority of cases with asthenopia due to weakness of accommodation.

2) In serous central retinochoroiditis absorp-tion of macular edema was facilitated thro-ugh the therapy.

3) The agent was moderately effective for selected cases of optic neuritis and pigmentary degeneration.
