An optical image as the input signal to the optic nerve system is considerer in the form of the modulated image of the object by the combi-nation system of ocular lens and retinal recepto-rs. This image modulation processing in the retina is simulated by the optical model of fiber bundle, in which the dynamic imaging is intro-duced in order for the linear treatment of the system. The theoretical investigations for the results obtained by psychological experiments and for the visual acuity are made by using the. optical transfer functions of this system.
