眼瞼黄色腫について

Eleven Cases with Xanthelasma Palpebrarum

I．はじめに

　局所性または全身性の脂質代謝障害により，脂質が沈着する疾患群を類脂質症Lipoidoseといい，沈着脂質が主としてコレステロール（以下「コ」と略）の時に黄色腫症Xanthomatoseという。眼瞼黄色腫Xanthelasma palpebrarumは黄色腫症の中でわれわれがしばしば遭遇するものである。

　私は最近経験した本症11例の諸検査成績について以下に簡単に報告する。

Eleven cases, 2 males and 9 females, with xanthelasma palpebrarum were presented.

1. Of the 11 cases only 3 showed hyper-cholesteremia of over 300mg/dl, in whom 2 were suffering from chronic ncphritis and diabetes mellitus respectivery.

2. Systemic blood pressure ranged from 176 to 124 in systolic and 102 to 74 mmHg in diastolic value. No cases showed remarkably high blood pressure.

3. Arteriosclerosis of the aorta was found roentgenologically in 6 cases and in 2 the co-nditioh was associated with left venticular hypertrophy.
