「石原式幼児色盲検査表」の使用経験

I．緒言

　色覚のスクリーニングテストには，従来，石原式色盲表が最も多く使用され，異常者検出の能力も優れているとされているが，幼稚園児や小学校入学時の検査には，数字が読めなかつたり曲線が複雑なために検査が困難なことがあつた。幼児用色盲表はこれまでにも数種あるが，今度石原式幼児色盲検査表が発行されたので，入学後1カ月の小学1年児童158名についてこれを使用し石原式数字表の結果と比較してみた。また別に検出した異常者成人20名，中学生10名合計30名についてもこの表を使用してみた。

The color vision test was carried out using the newly published "Ishihara Test for Child-ren" on 158 Children (93 males and 65 females) who had entered primary school one month before. The same test was done on a color vision defective group consisting of 20 adults and 10 junior high school students.

The Ishihara Test for Children is made up of 4 samples in which people with normal color vision and those with color vision defe-cts can notice the same patterns, plus 3 screening plates and 5 diagnostic plates.
