稀有なる強膜腫瘍について

An unusual case of scleral tumor

　強膜より生じた腫瘍は甚だ稀である。著者等は上強膜より生じた腫瘍で，滑平筋腫に酷似した組織学的所見を示す神経線維腫を検索する機会があつたので，其の概要を茲に発表する。

　症例は21歳男子で，昭和39年7月27日初診，約1箇月前より左眼球結膜直下，鼻側上部に小豆大，淡紅色の腫瘤を主訴として来院した，自覚症としては軽度異物感のみであり，既往歴，家族歴共に異常はない。初診時所見は左眼角膜輪部10時の箇処より約3mm隔たる強膜部に直径約7mm，稍楕円形，淡紅色，触診により弾性硬の腫瘤を認め，上強膜に密着し，結膜とは遊離し，軽度の充血を認めた，毛様体，虹彩及び中間透光体，眼底に異常はない。視力は両側共に1.5（n．c．）であり，其の他の眼部，全身所見にも異常はない。

The occurrence of scleral neurofibroma in a 21-year-old male is reported. The tumor, which assumed a spherical form of about 7mm in diameter and was situated 3 mm pos-teriorly from the limbus, was securely racin-ated in the scleral tissue.

The histological picture, which closely res-embled that of leiomyoma, was interpretedas neurofibroma because of poor eosinophilic reaction of the cytoplasma. The authors reg-ard the tumor as originating from the episc-leral nerve fiber, which later invaded into the scleral tissue.
