調節機能の研究（IV．）—調節の安静位について

Studies on accommodation (IV):The resting state of accommodation.

　私らはさきに，調節に要する時間を手がかりにして調節機能を研究するために，アコモドメーターを試作し，その構造，機能，測定方法および一部の測定成績について報告したが，今回はこの装置を用いた新しい測定方法を考案した結果，調節の安静状態について多少の知見をえたので，ここに報告する。

Using the accommodometer developed by the authors, accommodation time was measured in complete darkness without fixing the starting state of accommodation.

This method was named "free starting method"

It was revealed that a refractive state for the minimum accommodation time was loca-ted at 1~3 diopters from the far point. This refractive state was considered as a resting state of accommodation in complete darkness.
