Polymer I/Aチップとmetal I/Aチップの灌流量と吸引量の比較

Comparison of polymer-tipped and metal-tipped irrigation-aspiration instruments in irrigation and aspiration of anterior chamber

要約　目的：Polymer I/Aチップ（polymerチップ）がmetal I/Aチップ（metalチップ）よりも吸引効率や前房の安定性が高い可能性があるかについての検討。方法：3種類のpolymerチップとmetalチップでの基礎吸引圧，初期吸引量（吸引開始後30秒間の吸引量），灌流量を計測し比較した。結果：3種類のpolymerチップはmetalチップより基礎吸引圧が低く，初期吸引量および灌流量が多かった。結論：Polymerチップは基礎吸引圧が低く初期吸引量が多いことから，立ち上がりよく多量の灌流液を吸引できるため吸引効率がよく，また，灌流量が多いことから前房の安定性も良好である可能性が考えられた。

Abstract.　Purpose：To evaluate whether the polymer-tipped irrigation/aspiration instrument（polymer tip）has better aspiration efficiency and stability of the anterior chamber than metal one（metal tip）. Method：Using three types of polymer tips and one type of metal tip, we measured vacuum pressure of aspiration without occlusion, initial aspiration volume（the aspiration volume during 30 seconds after starting）and the irrigated volume. Results：Polymer tips had lower vacuum pressure of aspiration, greater initial aspiration and irrigated volume than metal tip. Conclusion：These findings suggest that polymer tips may have better aspiration efficiency and stability of the anterior chamber than metal tip.
