容易に睫毛抜去できる睫毛鑷子の作製とその有効性

Evaluation of a new cilia forceps

要約　目的：新規に考案した睫毛鑷子の紹介とその評価。方法：従来の睫毛鑷子の把持面を粗面加工することで睫毛を確実に挟めるようにした。症例：85歳女性に流涙があり，脂漏が多く，睫毛が細かった。今回考案した睫毛鑷子で睫毛をしっかり保持し，抜去することができた。69歳女性の両眼の下眼瞼に細く短い睫毛があった。今回考案した睫毛鑷子でスムーズに抜去することができた。結論：今回改良した睫毛鑷子は，短時間で容易かつ確実に睫毛を抜去することができる臨床的に有効な器具である。

Abstract.　Purpose：To describe and clinically evaluate a newly designed cilia forceps. Method：The newly designed forceps have a rough surface in order to firmly fixate the cilia. Cases：A 85-year-old woman presented with epiphora and seborrhoe. Her narrow and delicate cilia could be removed by fixating with the new forceps. A 69-year-old female had short and narrow cilia. They could be removed with ease with the new forceps. Conclusion：The new cilia forceps promises to be effective in removing the cilia rapidly and easily.
