いとぐち
前思春期以降で行われる大腿骨骨切り術は，大腿骨頭あるいは大腿骨頸部に加わるストレスを軽減する目的で行われるもので，変形の矯正のために用いられるわけではない．前股関節症性変形として重要な外反股に対しては内反骨切り術，股関節症には荷重部関節面の適合性を改善するための内反あるいは外反骨切り術，大腿骨頸部偽関節には頸部の横径増大および頸部の外反を目的としたY骨切り術が行われる．これらの大腿骨骨切り術は，いずれも解剖学的な関節の再建を目指したものではなくて，病的な形態によって関節の免荷を実現しようとする生力学的治療法である．
