　紡錘形細胞脂肪腫は，比較的稀な良性脂肪性腫瘍の1種である．組織学的には成熟脂肪細胞と紡錘形細胞により構成され，間質には膠原線維や粘液性基質が混在している．放射線画像所見および病理組織診断について検討した．CTおよびMRI画像所見は多彩であり，一定の所見を認めず，悪性腫瘍との鑑別を要する例もあった．画像は脂肪成分，線維成分，粘液基質の存在割合によって多彩な像を示した．

　Spindle cell lipomas (SCLs) is a relatively rare benign adipocytic tumor and consists of a mixture of mature adipocytes and uniform spindle cells in a matrix composed of collagen fibers and mucinous material.　We discuss correlations between the radiographic and pathologic findings.　The diagnostic imaging findings (CT, MRI) are variable and nonspecific.　SCLs sometimes mimic malignant tumors radiologically.　Radiographic images reveal different findings depending on the percentages of the tumor occupied by the lesion, adipose tissue, collagen fibers, and mucinous material.
