  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A sixty-three-year-old man suffered from adductor longus muscle hernia in his left thigh, which is rarely found in past literature. Patching by polypropylene mesh was satisfactorily able to prevent muscle protrusion from the rupture of the fascia. He had used an electrical muscle stimulator for developing his muscles and sometimes felt the sharp pain in his left thigh during stimulation. Excessive electrical stimulation to muscles might generate extraordinary muscle contraction, which is hypothesized to rupture the fascia of muscles.
