　抄録：Garden 3，4型の大腿骨頚部内側骨折（以下，頚部内側骨折）に対してbipolar型人工骨頭置換術を施行された29例31股関節を追跡調査し，その臨床およびX線学的成績を報告した．平均手術時年齢は61.5歳で，平均経過観察期間は6年3カ月であった．

　Osteolysisは29.0％で，非感染性の弛みによる再置換率は9.7％と比較的高頻度に認められた．またセメント充塡度の不良例のうち33.3％に弛みが認められたことは，やはりセメント手技の重要性が考えられた．

　Bipolar型人工骨頭置換術を使用する際には，その適応を十分に考慮し慎重な経過観察が必要である．

　We report the results of a clinical and radiographic evaluation of 31 hips in 29 cases of bipolar hemiarthroplasty for femoral neck fractures Garden type 3 or 4. The average age at surgery was 61.5 years, and the average follow-up period was 6 years 3months. A relatively high with rate of osteolysis, 29.0％ was observed, and the revision rate for aseptic loosening was 9.7％. The 33.3％ in cases failure cement techniques was due to loosening, the cement technique is important. When performing bipolar hemiarthroplasty, it is necessary to consider the indications and carefully follow the patient's course postoperatively.
