　"高周波脳波ゆらぎ解析"を用いて，痴呆ならびに向知性薬TA−0910の臨床薬効効果の評価を行い，同時に簡単な神経心理学的検査を実施して本解析結果との相関関係についても検討を行った。12例の痴呆症例を対象として，1日投与量10mg群と20mg群を1組として症例を割り付けた。投与後全例でMini Men—tal State（MMS）の有意な上昇を認め，用量依存的であったことから優れた向知性薬であると考えられた。かなひろいテストは投与前後を通じ全例不可であり，この結果と対応して，皮質機能を反映するローレンツパラメーターS1のトポグラフィー表示で，正常な前頭部優位のパターンは出現しなかった。MMSの上昇に対応してS2の有意な上昇を認め，この両者の間には相関関係が存在し，中心溝の前よりは後ろとまた左側よりは右側との相関がより強かった。一方，S1とMMSとの間には相関関係を認めなかった。以上のように，本解析法の有用性が確認された。

This study was performed to evaluate the demented state and the nootropic effect of TA-0910 by "Automated Fluctuation Analysis" of the human high-frequency EEG. Correlations between Lorent-zian parameters S1 and S2 and the results of neu-ropsychological tests was investigated.

The subjects of this study were 12 demented patients, four males and eight females, aged 57 to 80 years. After obtaining their informed consent a daily dose of 10 mg or 20 mg of TA-0910 was assigned to these subjects one by one.
