全生活史に亘る心因性健忘の1例

A Case of Psychogenic Amnesia All over the Life-history

　全生活史に亘り逆行性健忘を呈した一例を経験したので，検索所見，経過を述べ，併せて発生機序について考察を加えてみたい。

A case of retrograde amnesia for total life history in a woman of 48 years old has been reported. After clinical examinations, we knew that it was psychogenic retrograde am-nesia induced by variegated psychogenic mo-tives on the base of her hysteric character, and recovery from the amnesia was made gradually by isomytal-interview and for the most part by electroshock-therapy.
