側脳室腫瘍の2例

Two cases of tumors in the lateral ventricle.

緒言

　私等は最近教室に於て術前の診斷は1つは嗅窩Meningiomaを，他は小腦腫瘍を疑つたが，開頭又は解剖により各れも左側腦室に發生した腫瘍で組織學的検査により前者はMeningioma，後者はOligodendrogliomaである事を確め得た稀な2例を經驗したので茲に報告する。

We had recently the following 2 interesting cases by an experiment concerning tumors in the lateral ventricle.

As for the 1st case, by the diagnosis before the operation it was regarded as the Menin-gioma came from the Fossa olfactoria, but by an experiment with the brain of a patient died after the operation we found a Tumor on the left lateral ventricle, a little smaller than an egg, which came from the choroid plexus. After the histological experiment we found that it was the Meningioma, and, by the classifi-cation of the Cushing-Eisenhardt, it seemd to the case of Fibroblastic Meningioma (Type III, Variant 2, Fibrils abundant).

As for the 2nd case, it was a Tumor of the cerebellum on the right side, but by puncture of the left lateral ventricle we found the Tumor in it, and we cut off a part of it by the opera-tion.

Investigating the brain of a patient died after the operation, the Tumor filled up the whole lateral ventricle, and it was found to be the oligodendroglioma after the histological investi-gation.

The above-mentioned 2 cases are the clinical-ly interesting tumorse, and made a report of them.
