We evaluated the reliability and validity of the Process Evaluation scale based on consumer's perceptions of the critical components of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program. From 102 consumer's of the ACT program implemented in the Kohnodai area of Japan, 65 (63.7%) responded to the Process Evaluation scale and the Client Satisfaction Questionnaire-8 (CSQ-8) survey. The responses were analyzed, and the results confirmed the internal consistency (Cronbach's α:0.67-0.85) and test-retest reliability (r:0.74-0.91) of the Process Evaluation scale. Significant correlations between the Process Evaluation scale and the CSQ-8 indicated the concurrent validity of the Process Evaluation scale (r:0.35-0.60). Furthermore, the scale was found to have sufficient psychometric properties. We believe that the scale can be used for monitoring the process of ACT programs in order to ensure and improve the quality from the perspective of the consumer's.
